01 | ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF (Part 1): Anxiety, Burn-Out, and Mom Guilt - I didn’t get sober to live this way
Hey Sober Mama! Welcome to the first episode of Sobriety Checkpoint. In this two part series, I’d like to introduce myself and what this podcast is all about. This is where I started a few years ago - I was angry, anxious and full of mom guilt that said, “You wanted this life, you should be happy about it. Why are you so angry - look at that beautiful baby, you shouldn’t be depressed. You’re a therapist, you seriously think you can help anyone when you haven’t even figured it out!” In this podcast, I’m going to share a little bit about my journey with anger, burn-out, mom guilt, and my sobriety journey. An important lesson I learned is that healing comes from connection. I look forward to journeying with you and hope to teach you more about what I’ve learned on this beautiful sobriety journey I’m on.
