40 I Frank Somerville (PART 2): the raw and real story of overcoming addiction and finding peace
Welcome back to Sobriety Checkpoint! In this episode, we delve into part two of Frank Somerville's powerful story of recovery and transformation.
.
Frank Somerville is a five time Emmy award winning former main anchor for KTVU in the Bay Area. During the course of his career he witnessed two executions at San Quentin Prison, watched an autopsy, flew with the Blue Angels (and threw up mid flight), and was embedded with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Swat Team during a 48 hour non-stop competition (it was the first and only time they allowed a reporter to cover Urban Shield from the inside).
.
As he continues to share his journey, Frank reflects on his newfound sobriety and the profound impact it has had on his life, relationships, and sense of purpose. From overcoming addiction and childhood trauma to navigating fatherhood and mental health, Frank's raw and honest portrayal offers hope, inspiration, and a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Join us as we explore the transformative power of surrender, self-discovery, and the courage to seek help.
